Ascalon by Marcus Canning and Christian de Vietri in 2009
St George's Tce, in front of St George Cathedral - An abstract interpretation of the story of St George and the Dragon, it depicts the triumph of good over evil, Ascalon was the name of St George's lance in mediaeval romances, and derived from the city of Ashkelon in Israel. The angled pole, white billow and black base are reminiscent of the lance of St George, the cloak and steed of St George and the defeated body of the dragon.

Queen's Park, Cnr Hay and Plain St., East Perth - J. M. Barrie's Immortal Character in Bronze presented to the Children of W.A. by the Rotary Club. Queen's Gardens was formally a Brickworks and Clay Pit and officially opened as a Botanic Garden in 1899, named East Perth Park and changed to Queen's Park in honour of Queen Victoria.
